HMMD Inspiration: Espejo con secreto / Secret mirror

Hoy os traemos un poquito de inspiración HMMD con este espejo que guarda en su parte trasera un secreto: un montón de espacio para todas esas cosas que necesitamos tener a mano en el baño, pero que al final siempre terminamos teniendo apelotonadas: horquillas, pendientes, gomas del pelo, diademas, collares... {Today we bring you a bit of inspiration HMMD with this mirror which keeps a secret in the back: lots of space for all those things we need to have on hand in the bathroom, but in the end they are always huddled: hairpins, earrings, hair ties, headbands, necklaces... }

El espejo en cuestión es el modelo Stave, de Ikea, pero podéis usar cualquiera que tengáis añadiéndole sólo unas bisagras para que pivote y se pueda abrir. Nosotras quisimos hacer dos espacios, uno para las cosas relacionadas con el pelo y otro para los pendientes, pero el diseño depende de vuestras necesidades y de vuestra imaginación. { The mirror is the model Stave, by Ikea, but you can use any that you have, only adding hinges to allow the pivot movement and that can be opened. We wanted to create two spaces, one for things related to hair and the other one for earrings, but the design depends only of your needs and imagination. }

En el primer caso fue suficiente con poner unas perchitas de las que vienen con adhesivo por detrás, puesto que lo que vamos a colgar de ahí no va a ser muy pesado. Unas bolsitas de organza, de esas que ahora regalan con todo y que tenemos guardadas por ahí esperando darles un uso, son perfectas para guardar las horquillas, pinzas y gomas del pelo. { In the first case it was enough to put some small hangers, those which have adhesive at back, because what we're going to hang in there will not be very heavy. Some organza bags, the kind that give away everything and we have saved waiting for giving them a good use, are perfect for storing hairpins, tweezers and hair bands. }

Para el espacio dedicado a los pendientes, algo tan sencillo como un trozo de mosquitera cortada a la medida de nuestro espejo y sujeta con chinchetas (primero lo intenté con velcro para aprovechar el espacio de detrás, pero nunca funcionó). ¡No os podéis imaginar lo fácil y rápido que es ahora decidir los pendientes que me quiero poner y encontrarlos sin tener que pelearme con cadenas interminables de pendientes que se enredan unos en otros! { For the space for earrings, something as simple as a piece of mosquito netting, cut to size our mirror and fastened with pins (first I tried to fix it with velcro to get space back, but it never worked). HMMD Inspiration: Toallero de bambú / Bamboo Towel Rack

Hoy os presentamos una nueva idea para inspiraros a crear cosas bonitas y originales para vuestro hogar: un toallero hecho con cañas de bambú. Decorar con todo tipo de escaleras está de moda, y si no encontráis un toallero que encaje con vuestro gusto en el baño, uno de este tipo es ideal. { Today we show you a new idea to inspire you to create beautiful and unique things for your home: a bamboo towel rack. Es cómodo, barato y muy fácil de hacer. Sólo tenéis que comprar unas cañas largas de bambú (las podéis encontrar en la sección de jardinería de las grandes tiendas de decoración), cajearlas a la altura donde van a ir los travesaños y sujetarlos firmemente con cuerda. No os preocupéis si el cajeado no queda perfecto, ¡con suficientes vueltas de cuerda (o una cuerda más gruesa) no se apreciará! Y lo mejor es que no se necesita taladrar: para que no se mueva basta con un poco de gluetack (algo parecido a la plastilina, fácil de encontrar en papelerías) o silicona. { It is practical, cheap and very easy to make. You just have to buy some long bamboo canes (you can find them in the gardening section of decoration stores), make some slots in the larger ones, where the rungs will lay, and fasten tightly with rope. Don´t worry if the slots are not perfect, with enough laps of rope (or a thicker one) will not be appreciated! And the best part is that no drilling required: to avoid movements you just need a little bit of gluetack or silicone. }

Como veis queda perfecto en este pequeño aseo, donde el color piedra de las paredes pedía algo muy natural. Animáos y cambiad ese toallero del que ya os habéis cansado por uno mucho más original. { As you can see it looks perfect in this small restroom, where stone colored  walls cried our for something very natural. Cheer up, and change that towel rack you are already tired by one much more original. }

Bloglovin, para los amantes de los blogs / Bloglovin, for bloglovers

Desde hace unos pocos días estamos en Bloglovin. Y muchos de vosotros, como nosotras en su momento, os preguntaréis ¿y eso qué es?. Pues es, ni más ni menos, que un página dedicada a agrupar todos los blogs que te gustan. Sencillo, con una estética muy límpia y muy intuitivo. Lo primero que tienes que hacer es registrarte para crear tu propio perfil. Una vez registrado verás que te proponen varios blogs de los que tendrás que elegir 5 para comenzar (luego puedes borrarlos si haces una mala primera elección). Y después de eso ya puedes empezar a configurar tu propia lista de blogs en función de tus preferencias. { For a short time we are in Bloglovin. Cuando pinches ahí te aparecerá una lista y lo único que tendrás que hacer si quieres seguirlos es pinchar en el botón Follow. También puedes buscar por entradas populares (Popular post), donde se mostrarán entradas de todos los blogs, y cuando pases el ratón sobre cada imagen te dará también la oportunidad de seguirlo. Todo pensado para que sea muy fácil y manejable. { In the picture we have marked with blue arrows where you can find all the blogs registered on this page ("Find blogs"), and the categories in which they are classified, in this case we have selected "Home Decor".
